Would you like some advice about your cat or dog? Some reassurance, or a second opinion? Send your questions to the address below and I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. This is a free service that runs on donations only. There’s a twist: donations can only be made in Bitcoin. Don’t have any? Never had a clue what it is? (Isn’t it a scam? Why is an animal doctor talking about Bitcoin?) If you’ve found my advice useful, the best way to thank me isn’t donating, but being curious about this new technology. Why? Because Bitcoin is something extremely special, that everyone deserves to know about. I believe it is reshaping the world we live in and will form an important part of all our futures.

For advice, email [email protected] with a brief summary of the problem and attach any relevant pictures or videos. Please include your pet’s age, breed, sex, if they are neutered, and any changes in appetite, drinking, toiletting, energy levels and general mood!

The important things:

• If you think you have a veterinary emergency, do not delay here. Get your pet to a veterinary clinic now.
• I have a busy day job, so cannot always answer emails immediately or even within 24 hours. If you need an answer sooner, please see your local vet.
• I am a cat and dog vet. Anything else, I might struggle, but always willing to help if I can.
• Nothing beats a physical examination, remote advice has limits.
• I cannot prescribe any medicines.
• I am not saying anyone should buy Bitcoin. I am absolutely saying everyone should learn about it.
